We are officialy ENGAGED!

WE ARE ENGAGED! :) I cant explain how happy I'm today! :)))) I thought its just a regular night but this was so special because of that special question he asked me! I cant wait to share what happened.

I was dozing off to sleep around 7:00 pm and suddenly woke up hearing the song "Just Say Yes by Nicole Scherzinger" and saw dadhie holding a box with a ring on it.  He said " will you marry me?" I was surprised and I said nothing but hug him tight, I burst out to tears because I cant still believe that it's happening but I said "Yes"(of course:) He said that he cant think of anyway to do it and he doesn't want us to attend the Bridal Fair without me wearing a ring. He was quite pissed off if someone is asking if he already proposed or Why am i not wearing a ring.

I know that It's every woman's dream to have a romantic, fairytale, flash mobbed wedding proposal, but mine was very simple yet romantic. It doesn't even matter, because the fact that he is committed to marry me and spend our lives together is PRICELESS.  HAPPY ME!

We're Engaged Bridal Fair - ATTENDING!

We are sooo excited to attend one of the biggest Bridal Fair this year. We're Engaged Bridal Fair will be held in PICC on October 20-21. We will also book our first supplier (She and Him Photography with Wax Ambata) all documents are set and we are ready to go! :) . 

I was also ecstatic when I read that they are giving out FREEBIES, DISCOUNTS and even raffle draw. We are looking forward for this one of a kind experience and hope to book as many supplier as possible :p. I attached their logo and the link for FREE Registration! :)

First Supplier - She and Him with Joaquin Ambata

Yipee! First supplier- PENCIL BOOKED!  Its been a month since I emailed Sheena and inquired about their rates/packages, luckily they are partnered with Joaquin Ambata as their Videographer. We are so impressed with how She and Him took magical shots. We are very specific with our Photo and Video since those are the only memories we can look back, we want simple, no heavy editing but elegant photos. We are moved when we saw their pictures, no words can describe the love and passion behind every shots. I uploaded some of the photos taken from their website.

And since we will booked them early, we are entitled for FREEBIES. Pren-up shoot is included in our package. :) Sample shots below! :)

Too early to prepare

18 months from now is our wedding day. Too early to prepare? I don't think so. Days passed so fast you will be surprise its already 2013. One of the reason or I must say Benefit for booking early is SAVING MONEY! yep you read it right. Scouting for suppliers a year earlier will definitely save you tons! why? the term LOCKED IN is the keyword. There are suppliers who accept early bookings and locked in the terms from the time you make the partial payment or down payment. It will save you from drastic changes of rates from time to time because of their need. Will surely follow what I have learned from reading wedding blogs. :))

Wedding Proposal

"Did he proposed?" "where is your engagement ring?" those are the questions that i often hear from my friends and colleagues. We started planning the wedding a month ago, no formal proposal. We just woke up one morning and started scouting for potential suppliers.

Well, its every woman's dream to have that magical/romantic proposal and expensive engagement ring but the fact that your man is ready to tie the knot is the most important thing for sure. In our case were on planning stage and for me its really not that necessary, All I want is to marry my man. 

Am I still waiting for that question? YES! hahahaha.. :) Cross fingers! :))))

Wedding Theme and Motif

Its been awhile since i created this blog for our upcoming wedding and I have been searching suppliers left and right, reading blogs- left and right but i really haven't shared any.

First off, Dadhie and I decided that our wedding should be simple, no theme or whatsoever but in case we have the opportunity, we want a vintage-modern wedding. I uploaded a sample picture of what it looks like. :)

Aside from loving vintage, Dhie and I love color YELLOW so we decided to incorporate that to our wedding, however according to Bridalbook.com if you don't want your wedding to look like a kids party you need to choose a different color to blend with a bright one so we choose GRAY. I'm so in love with the combination. <3
